The Government of Odisha on June 11, 2026, has issued an addendum to its earlier notification adopting the Odisha Telecommunications (Right of Way) Rules, 2024, clarifying that the provisions of the Rules shall also apply, mutatis mutandis, to all Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Boards, Corporations, Authorities, Societies, Agencies and other organizations functioning under the administrative control of the State Government that own, control or manage public property for granting Right of Way (RoW) for telecommunication infrastructure.
The notification further mandates all such entities to designate a competent Nodal Officer and process RoW applications through the prescribed portal/system in accordance with the Rules. This addendum comes into force with immediate effect and shall form an integral part of the Notification dated February 14, 2025.
